It is time for the autumn beauty treatments. This particularly refers to the hair.
The change in the weather affects the life cycle of the hair follicles – while the heat of the summer accelerates the growth and metabolism of the hair, the autumn months are labeled with increased hair loss as the hair follicles go into a resting phase.
Except the change of seasons, the hair can show all internal and external factors that affect the organism as a whole.
The hair is extremely sensitive to changes in emotional and mental terms, for example the stressful return after the summer holidays, autumn sadness, reduction of positive emotions associated with walking in the nature and outdoor activities.
Moreover, in the autumn the hair is weakened by the prolonged effects of sun, sea, chlorinated water and the summer heat. As a result, it becomes prone to tearing, it is exhausted and with splitting ends. To this are added new problems – cold, wind, rain, intensive use of a hairdryer, the wearing of hats.
As you can see, there are reasonable grounds to be serious about the autumn therapies for hair. Mandatory rule is that they should start with the removal of the thinned and exhausted ends by the hairdresser. You then need to turn to the masks, as it is important to know that it is necessary to apply them regularly, not episodically.
Here are some classic autumn masks that are most suitable precisely for this season.
Mask with roasted pumpkin
Until homogeneous mixture are stirred equal portions of pumpkin (baked), egg yolk and honey. The mask is made 2 times a month.
Mask with autumn fruits
One egg yolk is mixed with a tablespoon of honey. To them are added fresh grape juice, crumpled apples and blended baked pumpkin. The mask is held for half an hour on the hair, and then rinsed with water only.
To half liter of boiling water add one tablespoon of rosemary and nettle. Boil for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat. Once it cools down strain the decoction. The resulting liquid is used for the final rinse after shampooing.
Autumn mask with milk and fruit
Drained out yogurt or sour cream are mixed with mashed autumn fruit of your choice. The resulting slurry is spread on the hair and left for about 30 minutes. Then wash with water and a yolk, without any shampoo.
Heating mask with carrots and aloe
1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of carrot juice, 1 teaspoon of aloe juice, 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of castor oil and 1 tablespoon of cognac are mixed. The mixture is applied to the hair, allowed to stand for 30 minutes and then the hair is washed with warm water.
